01 — The vision
The family owned the land and wanted nothing built that would hide it. No marquee, no walls — only light.
02 — The problem
Bare ground: no power, no kitchen, no drainage, and a canopy of mature trees nobody was willing to trim.
03 — The resolution
Soft rigging into the canopy with tree-safe strops, silenced generators sited two hundred metres downwind, and a full field kitchen behind a hedge line.
The concept
Lit orchard — the landscape as the decor, everything else invisible.
The best farmhouse build is the one you cannot see the engineering of.

Restrained — aisle urns and table work only. The trees carried the composition.

Canopy load points assessed by an arborist before any rigging was specified.

Full brigade cooking behind the hedge line for six hundred and fifty covers.
Reinstatement
Site struck and the ground left exactly as found, within thirty-six hours.
